The event is led by year 2 student Tegan Rush, and with a discussion hosted by Elizabeth Kutesko, Pathway Leader for Fashion History and Theory. With projects spanning Palestinian embroidery as a form of resistance, engineering memory through dress and dolls in Japan, and traditional festive dress in Macedonian communities – this group have presented insightful and critical analyses through their roundtable discussion. They highlight their learning insights and the challenges of navigating power dynamics and varying positionalities in research.
