Accessibility Resource

The Digital Learning team are delighted to release our Accessibility Resource. In this new resource, we discuss why accessibility matters, as well as looking at the Social Model of Disability, adopted by UAL.

We have included top tips to help you consider what things are important when creating a document and we have curated various guides for making accessible documents in Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.

We look at the accessibility credentials of the different platforms we use and what to consider when choosing a platform, as well as a host of other information.

We hope this resource will help you to join us on the journey to making our digital world more inclusive for all our staff and students.

We would like to acknowledge the excellent work of the UAL Disability Service and the Assistive Technology Coordinator in creating and curating many of the resources which we have linked to on this page.
