Getting off to a good start
Do you need a bit of help to gear up to the new term? Do you feel Moodle is there to support you and your students? Are you confident using Collaborate Ultra and Teams? Are you planning to record sessions this year?
This Autumn term we have three strands of staff development designed to support academic, technical and admin staff with teaching, Moodle and engaging with students.
- September staff development week – Preparing for the new academic year: Join us for help with making videos with Panopto, creating a welcoming Moodle page, teaching using Teams or Collaborate Ultra, how to create more engagement online and much more.
- Moodle shorts: On Wednesdays and Fridays 12-12.30 we will offer 30min sessions on how to use a variety of Moodle tools, from scheduler to activity logs, setting up assignments, monitoring attendance and using Quickmail.
- Wednesday catch-ups: In case you missed them, we will also be re- running a selection of our September sessions on Wednesdays from 4-5pm.
