Preparing your Moodle page checklist
There is a lot of preparation that takes place in order to get your Moodle page ready for your students. Some of this is done by the administration team and some by academics. The Digital Learning team (CSM DLt) have put together a checklist to support you with this. We have split the task into four sections. This document presumes that the Moodle page has already been ‘rolled over’ and you already have a blank page to work with. if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CSM DLt.
Getting started
There is a huge amount of work that goes on in the background to get courses ready for the next academic year, much of which goes on in the background. The central Digital Learning team have put together general guidance that is useful for anyone directly involved in the rollover process. This includes a section on what should not be copied across from one Moodle course to another.
Moodle admin tool
Ever wanted to know how to add staff to Moodle or to hide and show courses? The Moodle admin tool overview looks at how to make courses visible/invisible, understanding course structures, groups and mapping. The adding staff to Moodle looks at how to manually add someone to one or more Moodle pages.

How can content be shown or hidden in Moodle?
In Moodle, course content can be curated so that it is viewable, available but hidden from view, or not accessible by students.
What is new in Collaborate?
